Andy started working for the family business at a young age and learned to operate every piece of equipment utilized to produce custom rubber molded parts.  This knowledge proved extremely valuable when he returned to run the family business after working for Goodyear Tire and Rubber post college.

With Goodyear, Andy worked in the Industrial Products Division, which made rubber molded parts for the for the broad industrials sector.  Starting as a Territory Sales Manager out of New Orleans, Andy managed multiple distribution channels within the rubber industrial products segment.  The sales training and experience gained with Goodyear proved invaluable at Qualiform, especially when paired with his operational experience gained at Qualiform.

Andy returned to Qualiform after 10 years, building the top-line and bottom-line over the following 23 years.  During that time, he also rebuilt the company after suffering a debilitating fire in the manufacturing plant, working tirelessly to retain every single customer during that time.  He retooled the business and built it to become one of the best quality producers in the industry as recognized by his stellar “A list” of customers and suppliers

Andy’s areas of functional expertise are generally in operations, including production flow and efficiency, scrap control, and material/labor costs to optimize profitability.

From a strategy building point of view, Andy also diversified Qualiform’s customer base and product offering to eliminate concentration in those areas and position the company for maximum value when it came time to sell.  Part of the customer expansion effort included a focus on account penetration and by working with customers’ purchasing and engineering groups, Qualiform earned a reputation as the go-to supplier for new product development and problem solving as well as cost savings ideas to improve each customer’s bottom line.

As the company grew, Andy purchased a larger building and moved the company into that building, helping to modernize the business with a new facility and updated, more efficient, production equipment
